At Open Television (OTV), we are committed to fostering a creative and inclusive community through our non-profit streaming platform and media incubator. Our values guide us in our mission to support intentional storytelling and amplify opportunity-challenged voices.

Our commitment to intentional storytelling is rooted in a genuine desire to uplift and support our community through a continuum of care that is constantly expanding. 

Respect, Trust & Accountability: We build relationships based on mutual respect and trust, holding ourselves accountable to our community, partners, and artists. Our transparency and integrity are central to our efforts to create a brave and supportive environment for all. This commitment is something that we strive to model, ultimately providing possibility models for our co-conspirators to reciprocate.  

Creativity, Joy & Pleasure: We celebrate the boundless creativity that drives us and find joy in the process of storytelling. Our platform is a space where pleasure and artistic vitality thrive, encouraging innovative and imaginative works that not only inspire and entertain but build empathy over division, helping to contribute to a more pluralistic society.

Compassion guides our actions as we work to dismantle barriers and build a more equitable and accessible media landscape. This dedication is expansive and requires us to be open to learning when confronted with the various systems of oppression.
