#SPOTLIGHT ON DIANA QUIñONES RIVERA

How did you come of age as an artist? How did you come to your current practice?

I studied film at University of Puerto Rico and London Film School. When I moved to New York in 2005, I made short independent documentaries. After meeting two inspiring choreographers, I started to film their work. I found my calling in filming dance.

What was the inspiration for your OTV project?

The inspiration for filming this series was watching Darling Shear perform a solo.

What's next for you or your series?

I'll be editing 7 more episodes for the second season of "Darling Shear". I'll also be working on finishing a documentary that I started filming in 2014 and continue writing a pilot for a narrative television series.
